where are you on the attorney burnout continuum? 

Speaking from personal experience, burnout is real, and it's more serious than just being tired at the end of a hectic day. Lawyers are particularly prone to suffering from it, and to suffering the consequences. The drive and dedication that make them successful as a lawyer is also what’s causing stress and burning them out.

Burnout significantly interferes with one's health, happiness, and overall quality of life, and in extreme cases, the impact of burnout for lawyers is vast, significant, and serious.

Unfortunately, few burnout victims see it coming until it's too late. The good news is that attorney burnout isn't inevitable and it doesn't have to be forever. No matter where you are on the Continuum; from flourishing to floundering or even failing, you can change your direction, like I did, by building your mental fitness and using three core mental muscles to thrive in challenging times.
